Dr. Megan Taylor joined Banfield as an associate veterinarian in June of 2012. She was a part of the Student Job Program for 3 years while in veterinary school. Prior to joining the staff at Glen Carbon in October 2014, she worked at both the Manchester, MO and O'Fallon, IL locations. Dr. Taylor grew up in North St. Louis County and attended undergraduate classes at St. Louis Community College and UMSL. She graduated with her DVM from Oklahoma State University in May of 2012. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is educating pet parents in preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her cat "Newton," and participating in activities with her church.

Dr. Sikes was born and raised in the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon area. In 2001 she began working as a veterinary assistant while obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. After graduating Cum Laude and completing some graduate coursework, she then attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2009 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Banfield team in 2012 and enjoys volunteering with various organizations. She is particularly passionate about providing quality dental care for dogs and cats, and enjoys having the opportunity to work with so many devoted pet owners. Dr. Sikes enjoys kayaking and other outdoor activities, running, and spending time with her family and two beloved cats, Gwendolynn and Penelope.
