Dr. Jennifer Melling
Chief of Staff
Dr. Melling received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at St. Cloud State University before completing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. While completing school, she had actively worked in the veterinary field as a technician and also did shelter/rescue pet medicine. Her interests include clinical pathology, internal medicine, nutrition and weight management and senior pet care. She has an Australian Shepherd/ Husky mix named Mardi Gras that loves to get into trouble. In her spare time, she loves to garden, fish, four-wheel and volunteer at the Tri-County Humane Society doing spays and neuters for shelter animals. One day she would love to own a pet cow.
Dr. Froemming grew up in a small town in northern Minnesota, and received her undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College where she majored in Biology. She then went on to veterinary school at the University of Minnesota where she completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Her veterinary interests include small animal dermatology, small animal internal medicine, and educating new pet owners. Dr. Froemming, along with her husband, Shawn, stay busy raising their two young children. She enjoys spending time with their mixed breed dog, Jersey, and cuddling with their two ragdoll cats, Mocha and Latte. In the little spare time she has, she enjoys baking, reading, watching Twins baseball and exploring new places with her family.
Dr. Sarah Marx
Dr. Marx grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Yes, she is a true cheese head. Go Packers! She attended the University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin for her undergraduate years and left with a biology major and a chemistry minor. She moved to Coon Rapids in 2008 to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. During her years at veterinary school, Dr. Marx worked at Coon Rapids Banfield as a student doctor/pet nurse. Dr. Marx's main interests in veterinary medicine are internal medicine and preventive care. During her time off, Dr. Marx enjoys being out on the lake fishing and relaxing. She also spends her free time playing with her chocolate Labrador, Cody, Pit Bull mix, Mylo and two cats, Ty and Tess.
Dr. Miriam Reindl
Dr. Reindl received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2007. She then went on to work as a veterinary technician at Banfield in Eden Prairie for two years while she prepared for veterinary school. From there she completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2013. While completing school, she continued to work as a veterinary technician at Banfield on weekends and holiday breaks. Her interests include small animal surgery, small animal dentistry and small animal internal medicine. She has a Miniature Dachshund named Sophie who runs the house, and two cats named Dexter and Ben. In her free time, she loves to vegetable garden, cross country ski, road bike, sail and read.
Dr. Ericka Kulzer-Gillette
Dr. Gillette is a California native, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her mother was originally from Minnesota so she spent many summers up north enjoying our beautiful state. Always having a passion for animals, she often played veterinarian as a child. She achieved her childhood dream after she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Gillette has a passion for Animal Behavior/Training and a love for cats. Her three pets include a lovely mixed breed named Flora, a sweet orange tabby kitty named Dijon and a sassy calico kitty named Dorothy Kate.
