    Dr. Kevin Blaes


    Dr. Blaes graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine on May 20,1987, then promptly married his wife the next day, moved to Columbia, SC 3 days later and began practicing the day after arriving. He and his wife (who is also an LSU DVM classmate) have continued to practice in the Columbia area. They currently share their home with 3 horses, 5 chickens, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, 1 finch and 150+ guinea pigs. Dr. Blaes began practicing with Banfield in 1999, has been a chief of staff, a hospital director, a charter owner and on the Medical Standards Board for 5 years. When not at work, he bakes, spends time in his vegetable garden, makes wines, makes garden-fresh salsa and grows his own cooking herbs. He also enjoys visits to New Zealand. More Details >>

    Dr. Diane Givler


    Dr. Givler grew up in Middletown, Pennsylvania, a small town just outside of Hershey. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Hawaii, Hilo and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in December 2003. Dr. Givler attended vet school at Ross University, then spent her clinical year at Louisiana State University before receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in January 2008. After graduation she practiced medicine for five years at a private practice in Rochester, New York. She just recently moved to South Carolina with her fiancé Dustin, a graduate student at USC-Columbia. She has lived in six states and one foreign country and loves doing anything outside, watching football, and especially enjoys traveling. She has a Boston terrier named Gravy. More Details >>

    Dr. Anjaiah Katta


    Dr. Katta grew up and studied in India, moved to the United States and now lives with his wife and four year old son. He received his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Marshall University, West Virginia and has practiced as a veterinarian for 3 years. He worked on exercise adaptations in diabetic rats and published several scientific papers. His special areas of interest are small animals, internal medicine and soft tissue surgeries.     Dr. Patricia Panno


    Dr. Panno grew up in southern Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University school of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She has worked as a veterinarian at Banfield for approximately 10 years. She has experience working in a mixed practice of large animal, equine and small animal medicine. She currently shares her home with her husband and two daughters and they have four dogs, nine cats and five horses. In her spare time she enjoys are reading, horseback riding and sketching.
