Dr. Kimberly Riley
Chief of Staff
Dr. Riley is a 2002 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has enjoyed small animal practice since graduation and relocated back to her hometown of Charlotte in 2005 to enjoy extended family, Carolina weather, and a “small town-big city" balance Charlotte now offers. She joined the Banfield team at Charlotte in 2006. Dr. Riley has a passion for preventive care, but also loves challenging medical cases, abdominal ultrasound, and senior pet care. She accepted our Chief of Staff position this year. In this role she is prioritizing ensuring excellent client experience, quality medical care, and the growth of our associates personally and professionally. Dr. Riley and her husband, Shawn, happily have their hands full with two small boys, Shawn Jr. and Grant.
Dr. Rebecca Davis
Dr. Davis grew up in Williamsburg, VA, and knew from middle school she wanted to become a veterinarian. In her younger years she collected worms and caterpillars, the only thing she was allowed to bring home. Then in 2009 she rescued a Beagle mix who was going to be euthanized the day she was born. Rebecca raised her from that day and Daisy has traveled with her from undergrad and vet school at VT to their new home in Charlotte, NC, where she moved after graduating from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2012. Rebecca enjoys fostering ill neonatal kittens and finding them homes (although 3 have managed to find a permanent home with her). She currently lives with Daisy, Jasmine, Violet, and Olive, who all work at keeping her very busy. She loves her job in Charlotte, NC and enjoys putting her knowledge into practice. Her veterinary interests include surgery, endocrine and cardiology.
Dr. Patrick McGlone
Dr. McGlone grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Maryland, and then he attended VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, where he earned his DVM license and also met his future wife. Dr. McGlone performs a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries including cherry eye repair and orthopedic surgeries including luxating patella correction and cruciate repairs. He also enjoys working with pocket pets, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats. When not in the hospital, Dr. McGlone is an avid fisherman and likes spending time outside. He and his wife have two dogs, two bunnies, and a tank of fish!
