Dr Tova Pinsky was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. She then moved to Western Australia for 11 years with her family where she graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Murdoch University. Attending veterinary school in Australia provided many amazing opportunities to travel, and Dr Pinsky had the opportunity to work with amazing animals and explore beautiful places. After graduating and spending 4 months traveling in South America, Dr Pinsky moved back to Canada to complete an equine internship at a private practice in Alberta. Realizing that 11 years in Australia had left her unprepared for the bitter cold of Alberta winters, Dr Pinsky decided her next career move should be somewhere (a little) warmer. Dr Pinsky moved to Colorado and began working for Banfield Pet Hospital. Following more than a decade of fostering her love for horses and equine medicine, Dr Pinsky did not think she would be working with dogs and cats, however, the transition to small animal medicine was thoroughly enjoyable. Dr Pinsky has fostered her love of dental surgery throughout her time at Banfield Pet Hospital and has a particular interest in pain management in her surgical patients. When not working, Dr Pinsky loves to spend time with her beautiful adopted cat Olive, go rock climbing, volunteer to support underprivileged communities and enjoys playing board games with her friends.
