Ruby Humphrey, RVT

Hi there! I’m Ruby, a Shift Lead and Registered Veterinary Technician who has worked at Westwood since June 2018. I developed a love of medicine through my Bachelor's degree in biology, during which I worked in human medicine as an EMT and phlebotomist. My love for animals has been a large part of my life since birth, and as my tenure here likely tells you, in veterinary medicine I have found my life’s passion. My kitty, Nala, is my best friend and my newest clan addition is my tripod Shiba mix, Yeti. My passions outside of work include a slew of outdoors activities, as well as personal fitness practices such as yoga and kickboxing. Generally, if I’m not in the pet hospital, you’ll find me playing outside.
