Nicholas Cross, DVM

Dr. Nicholas Cross has been a Banfield associate veterinarian for nearly 5 years. He was born and raised in Metairie, LA and attended LSU Veterinary School of Medicine graduating in 2012. As a student, he had the privilege of caring for Mike the Tiger (LSU's live tiger mascot) as one of Mike's veterinary student caretakers. After school, he pursued further training in internal medicine and emergency medicine through an internship program in Indiana. Dr. Cross worked in private practice for several years before joining the Banfield team in 2018. He lives with his wife Bethany and daughters, Kennedy and Katie. His affection for dachshunds is obvious and lives with several of them at home. He enjoys outdoor activities, all LSU sports and spending time with his family in his free time.
