Michelle Patterson, CVT

After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Elon University, Michelle joined the Cary Banfield team in 2012 as a student extern, while completing Central Carolina Community College's Vet Tech program. She went on to work in a variety of settings from lab animal diagnostics to emergency/specialty medicine and practice management before settling into a teaching role at her alma mater. A lifelong learner, Michelle jumped at the opportunity to continue her education after nearly a decade, returning to Banfield at the Southpoint location in 2023 to pursue a second Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology through App State's online program with plans to continue into a Master's program after. Michelle currently resides in Durham with her husband and their numerous Disney-named pets.
