PetWare Medical Record Database
To ensure your pet receives the best care available based on the latest medical research, we gather information from all pets seen at our clinics across the country and store this information in PetWare, a centralized medical record database.
We then work in partnership with our internal research team, Banfield Applied Research and Knowledge (BARK), industry leaders and veterinary academia to utilize the information stored in this database to uncover key findings and trends in pet diseases and other conditions, while still keeping the confidentiality of our clients and patients.
Banfield Applied Research & Knowledge (BARK)
The BARK team conducts population-based research using the data captured in PetWare. BARK disseminates and shares new knowledge and evidence discovered from this research with veterinary professionals so that they can practice up-to-date evidence-based medicine and contribute to the improvement of pet health care.
