State of Pet Health 2011 Report vol. 1

Since Banfield was founded in 1955, many new companion animal diseases have been discovered, and the prevalence of diseases is constantly changing. There are several key diseases which are increasing in prevalence and are affecting the health of our pet population. Below is an overview of significant findings from this year’s report: Diabetes, Heartworm Disease, Dental Disease, Otitis Externa, Fleas and Ticks, and Internal Parasites.
