Puppy Vaccines
"What types of vaccines do puppies get?"
Healthy puppies generally start vaccination between 6-8 weeks of age. There are multiple important vaccinations available. Your pet’s veterinarian is the best person to determine exactly which vaccines are needed, but most veterinarians recommend at least a series of distemper/parvo combination vaccines with leptospirosis as well as rabies when old enough. Depending on your area, your Banfield veterinarian may choose to vaccinate your dog for coronavirus.
